Which phone models are best?

The phones you decide to place in the chassis are ultimately up to you and what you hope to do. Some considerations should include the longevity of the phone, and if you would like the phone to be future-proofed for coming Android versions.

Whichever you chose, we recommend sticking to just one model per Cellhasher.

Can I use different phone models in the same Cellhasher?

Possibly, as it depends on your phone's battery voltage requirements. Each Cellhasher outputs the same voltage to all 20 ports. If your different models voltages are close or the same, it can be done. To check your voltage, follow these steps,here.

What do I do with BMS cables?

Your order will include BMS cables that can connect to these phones: Samsung S10, S9, S8, S7, S6, Note9, Note8, and Note5 series. Other phone models will require soldering the provided cables.

Will Ethernet work with my phones?

The supplied cables are compatible with Ethernet and will provide internet to phones. However, not all phone models are compatible. If it is an Android purchased within the last 5 years, it likely supports Ethernet.

To check if it supports Ethernet plug it into a computer. On the phone pull down the notification shade and check the USB connection options info, if it has Ethernet as an option it supports it, if not it doesn't.

How many watts does it use?

The average user will likely be in the range of 60-160W with 20 phones installed. Since you've got the freedom to decide how to use the phones, wattage will depend what you're running and the models installed.
